NEBOSH IGC Course Syllabus

The international general certificate of Nebosh consists of three units, such as:



International health and safety management (IGC1)
Control risks in the workplace (GC2)
Practical application of health and safety (GC3)

What will you study in IGC 1: Management of international health and safety?
Chapter 1: Foundation in Health and Safety.
Chapter 2: HSMS Plan
Chapter 3: HSMS-Do
Chapter 4: HSMS-Check
Chapter 5: HSMS – Law

What will you study in NEBOSH GC2: Control hazards in the workplace?
This unit was totally focused on the control of hazards in the workplace and on the different types of control measures available to eliminate, reduce or control it.

Chapter 2: Transport risks and risk control
Chapter 3: Musculoskeletal risks and risk control
Chapter 4: Hazards of the work team and risk control
Chapter 5: Electrical Safety
Chapter 6: Fire safety
Chapter 7: Chemical and biological risks to health and risk control.
Chapter 8: Hazards to physical and physiological health and risk control.

UNIT GC 3: In this part, candidates must prepare a practical assessment based on the knowledge acquired in IGC 1 and GC 2.

Course duration NEBOSH IGC:
The normal duration of the course recommended for Nebosh is 10 days for both IGC 1 and GC2.
